TALLMADGE, OH – As much as companies like Summit Racing and Holley love helping you go fast, they also know safety needs to be a top priority, especially at the track.

If you’re looking for proof of the companies’ commitment to keeping you safe, look no further than the new Summit Racing Safety Center sponsored by Holley, which just opened inside Summit Racing’s original retail store in Tallmadge, Ohio. This brand-new “store-within-a-store concept” makes it easier than ever to get the safety gear required for your specific needs.

“Safety is a very important component of racing, and we want to be the foremost provider to our customers of this type of product and give them a shopping experience, whether it’s in-store or online, that is second to none,” said Scott Peterson, Summit Racing Equipment President and Chief Executive Officer.

The Summit Racing Safety Center is a true collaboration between Summit Racing and Holley and features products from across Holley’s family of safety brands.

“I’m really thankful for the partnership with Summit Racing,” said Matt Stevenson, CEO and President of Holley Performance. “Both the Summit Racing and Holley teams did a great job of really creating a unique experience you really can’t find (any place else).”

Shoppers can expect to find a full gamut of safety gear, including the legendary HANS device and Simpson Hybrid head-and-neck restraints. There is also a wide variety of helmets from Racequip, Simpson, and Stilo, plus driving suits, gloves, and shoes that racers can try on at the store.

Our new Summit Racing Safety Center sponsored by Holley is now open at our Tallmadge, Ohio location!

“Safety is an assisted sale,” said Steve Kester, Summit Racing Equipment Senior Retail Manager. “It’s not something you can just walk in, take (the gear) off the shelf, and then take it to purchase it. You really need some assistance with it, and we’ve got experts in our retail stores to help customers make the right decision. With everything in here, you can touch it, feel it, and you can try it on.”

Summit Racing officials say the safety center is the first of its kind, and they plan to work with Holley to open similar centers inside its other retail locations.
